Things have been hectic! We've just gone through Christmas, school holidays, teething from the toddler and some super crazy weather!!!
But as the title of this post suggests.... I have the mother of all excuses to explain my lack of posts. I've thought about the multitude of clever and witty ways that I could explain my reasons to you.... but to be honest, I'm just too tired right now! lol.
So this pretty thing that I've made with the help of Antique Images and the ever faithful picmonkey will have to suffice!
Yes sir-ee!!! I'm pregnant!!!
Yes sir-ee!!! I'm pregnant!!!
You may recall me mentioning back in December that I had big plans for 2013.... well they don't get much bigger than the arrival of another sweet baby to our home.
We're all pretty excited, as you can well imagine. Emily is helping me count the weeks as they go by. I'll be 14 weeks this Monday... that makes baby due around the 12th August.
We've already been lucky enough to see baby via ultrasound at 10 weeks and all is well. It was so cute to see two little legs kicking like crazy and two little arms waving back at us. Can't wait for the next scan to find out what we're having and then I can get busy sewing stuff!!!
So if you don't see me around as often, it's more than likely due to exhaustion, or the occasional bout of morning sickness (although that side of things is hopefully almost over!).
Aahhhhh! I feel so much better getting that out in the open! I'm so terrible at keeping my lips zipped about this kind of goss! I think I did well to keep a lid on it this long!
So get ready to have your Pinterest feed flooded with Baby tutorials and ideas in the near future!!!
I can't wait to share with you the next installment of this bubba's journey!

Congratulations!
