I shared this photo on my personal facebook page last night and it stirred up quite the frenzy between the lovely ladies from My Vintage Childhood & Domesblissity!
They were squabbling over who needed these gorgeous canisters more.
Apparently I need to hide them when Anne comes to visit me next as she's already planning how to smuggle them out of my house!!!
Truth be told. I actually found this set a few months back at our local church jumble sale for a steal at .... wait for it..... $5.... yes... FIVE dollars!
I meant to share this little gem with you all ages ago, but it must have slipped my mind.
I think Hannah loves them just as much as I do.
Tell me what little gems you've picked up recently on an thrifty adventure...
PS... I'm linking up with Essentially Jess for #iBOT. if you've posted today, you can link up too!

Haha I can just imagine those two squabbling for those canisters. They are gorgeous, what a great find!
ReplyDeleteIt gave me a good giggle! Although I'm quite hesitant now off letting Anne come by for a visit! :D
DeleteGreat find for $5.00. It's so funny that all the stuff that I have seen my parents throw away when my grandparents died, is all the stuff I am trying to hunt down these days. I think I need to go op-shopping again!
ReplyDeleteMy mum just shakes her head everytime she sees my finds and says stuff like "Vintage? But I had that when I was your age!" haha!
DeleteFrenzy is right! LOL Oh Cass. My heart is palpitating just looking at them. I live in a vintage wilderness. Can I move near you please? You'll have to make sure those cannisters are bolted down though if I come to visit! LOL
ReplyDeleteAnne xx
Lol... I'm off to go and hide those babies away where you'll never find them!!! Mwahahaha :P xo
DeleteI'd be squabbling too! Vintage canisters are so hard to find cheaply. They're fantastic. Picked up a cute stretchy striped dress this week for $5. I love op shopping so much.
ReplyDeleteOH, nice find! They are hard to come across at that price. I'm still on the hunt for the kind that come in lovely pastels with the words (like rice, flour, etc)in white on them. They would be my ultimate!
DeleteWow they are gorgeous! LOVE them :)And that kiddo of yours is the perfect model!
ReplyDeleteShe is pretty darn cute! Thanks Ros x
Deleteyour little girl is gorgeous!!! :)
ReplyDeleteLOVE the canisters.. I would have definitely bought them too!!! lucky thing..
xx
Thanks hun.. I'm in love with them!
DeleteI love them!!! Jumble sales are the best!
ReplyDeleteAren't they just! I always get my best finds from Jumble Sales :)
DeleteNow how did you get that darling little Missy to dress in matching print???
ReplyDeleteHaha! Pure coincidence! It wasn't until I'd uploaded the photos that I'd realised just how much they matched.
DeleteThey are gorgeous. What a bargain for $5. I haven't trifted anything recently. Rachel x

Yes! Finally someone writes about – any.
ReplyDeleteMy web blog ... make an app
Love these!!!! I never ever ever find anything like this in op shops, I only find musty, smelly, broken stuff. One day I will have THE find, just hope it's not too far away :)
ReplyDeleteLove these! We can't find them anymore.
ReplyDeleteWell I am absolutely jealous of this little $5 find! How could you have held them back from us for so long?? haha. I picked up a similar style of cannister from a country oppie not so long ago, it was a tiny version with more of a beige look to the cannister. I must admit I love Hannah's little pilchers too! xx
