Today we paint...

Hannah made her first master piece this morning.

 Quite a tasty masterpiece apparently!

I found the recipe for this home made paint over at The Imagination Tree.

All you need is flour, water, dish washing liquid & food colouring!!!

Although, the recipe asks for a cup of detergent, I only used about 1 tablespoon.  That was probably a good thing as Hannah would probably be blowing coloured bubbles after eating it!

What crafty ideas do you have that are suitable for 13 month olds?
We're going through a bit of a stir crazy stage!

  2. Aww such a good idea and she looks like she's having a great time. Have you done homemade playdough as well? Mum used to do it for me and my brothers and made us the craziest colours.. plus i have this strong feeling it really was edible.. always good for kids who have to taste test everything!

    1. I haven't made playdough for Hannah yet... she'll just eat it at this stage! LOL. But I used to make it All.The.Time for Emily! Playdough is awesome! I can't wait until bub is ready for it :)

  3. Very cute! I still have my son's first drawing on the fridge. You can also add a few drops of colouring to yoghurt. Fun to play with and totally safe for little ones to eat. I used to just spoon it onto his tray to play with.
